Join the Leicester People’s Photography Gallery and pro photographer Nat Coalson for a comprehensive look at the current best practices in the modern digital photography workflow. Nat will discuss techniques for capturing the best images with a digital camera (including important shooting techniques) and working with them on the computer, all the way through preparing files for printing by a lab and even making your own fine art prints. You will learn key workflow techniques in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, as well as the most essential colour management and asset management practices.
This will be a general overview—nothing overly complex or advanced—and will be useful to photographers working at all levels. The format is presentation style and not a hands-on class. (You don’t need to bring a computer.) We will wrap up the evening with a Q&A session, so come prepared with your photography and imaging questions!
